LATEST NEWS: Reinforcement Packs are on the way, Short Story Available in the world and upcoming website additions - Malediction

On Friday, Malediction announced a new "incursion" into the game on their You Tube Channel, with what's going to be coming for the four factions over the next six months.  If you haven't caught up yet, the link (You Tube Channel above, will give you all the details in 15 minutes.)

Now with Reinforcements Packs on their way (August 26) you'll be getting new tools to help deal with your foes as well as furthering the identity of your forces from the others.  Each pack contains fourteen physical cards across seven unique designs, including three units, three spells, and one item.

A redeem code also unlocks six printable STL miniatures representing the three new units. Every card is known in advance, and each pack can be used with every Seeker from its corresponding faction.

Every Reinforcement Pack will also have a matching Standee Pack, sold separately for players who want a fast, table-ready way to field their new units.

Each Standee Pack includes one punchboard containing six standees and also six plastic bases representing the units from its corresponding expansion.

This time Malediction have a story set in their world, written by George Mann.  To read it please go here.

Finally later this year the play network will continue to evolve around the people using it so that they can find local games in their area as well as keeping up to date as to whats happening.  In addition to this the official Deckbuilder will also become part of that ecosystem, bringing card discovery, warband construction, and shared lists into one place. Every faction and every Reinforcement Pack card will be available there, giving players a clear path from exploring new options to bringing a finished warband to the table.

The Malediction Points system will also evolve into an achievement and threshold structure. Instead of accumulating points toward distant rewards, players will progress through achievements designed to make rewards easier to understand, reach, and claim.

These changes share one purpose: making it easier to find a game, build a warband, organize your gaming group, and return for the next match.

All the best,

ThunderMouser
