REVEAL SHOW: Warhammer Games: How were out Guesses? - Games Workshop and Totally Pawsome
Hail Mighty Readers, Followers of the Luck Gods Math Rocks,
Well with last nights show, lets see how we managed to do with our guesses for the various grafitti shots, what we're going to do is give ourselves 1/2 point if we got the faction right, and half a point if we got what was released. So this is how it worked out for us:
Game: Horus Heresy
Faction: Adeptus Custodes
Points:
Yep, we got Horus Heresy and Adeptus Custodes right for this, however what was shown were new Adeptus Custodes Terminator type of warriors. Also they've announced that you'll be getting less miniatures for your points, so its going to be interesting to see how exactly it'll work out in the long run. In addition these are also fully useable for 40K too.Game: Kill Team
Faction: Legion of the Damned
Reason:
Yep we got this one 100% right, Legion of the Damned Kill Team box set. Whilst we were hoping for new sculpts these look a lot like the ones from 2nd/3rd edition. We were hoping for a more supernatural look to them but sadly that was not happening. Also its a big return to land of the beakies with the helms. We're going to be building our own Legion of the Damned Supernatural mini's as and when we can afford to get the extra accessories.
Points= 1
Total= 2
Game: Warhammer Quest
Faction: Orruks
Reason: Ok we completely messed this one out, the image pertains to Blood Bowl and whilst its a Goblin and Squig Team that looks fab its not one we're going to be after personally.
What did come out for Warhammer Quest was some new heroes to battle the forces of Nurgle. These will be released as a set which is Agents of Azur, which includes a Safiya Ashcross who is a Witch Hunter, Caul Durnan is a Wildecorps Sharpshooter, Brother Belias who's a battle-priest, and Ignus Sharn who is a Bright Wizard.
Points= 0
Total= 2
Game: Space Marine 2
Faction: -
Reason:
Another one where we were completely wrong, this pertains to the Warhammer Plus series Astartes, of which we are now getting a second season.
Yet again another bit 0 for us.
Points= 0
Total= 2
Game: Warhammer Old World
Faction: Tomb Kings of Khemri
Reason:
Yep we got this a hundred percent correct, brand new miniatures for the Tomb Kings, with new chariots, archers and warriors. All are Khemri themed which I do feel is a little bit of a let down when you could have taken an older flavour from others who may have wondered into the lands on their own quest.
Points= 1
Total= 3
Game: Necromunda
Faction: Imperial Guard
Reason:
Yes to Necromunda, no to the Imperial Guard, it was Escher Assassin, Orlock Gunslinger, Squat Fixer, and Goliath Champion, but it feels like this one is more designed as a new Warhammer Quest/RPG. It does look pretty good to us and with a ton of foes to gun down on your adventure, its going to be a real treat to play. We can't wait
Points= 1/2
Total= 31/2
Faction: Khazalite Holds
Reason:
Yet again 100 % right, ton of really fab miniatures that not only includes an absolute ton of warriors but good representation across both genders making the all super thicc. Our personal favourite is the new throne diorama, with the King sailing through the landscape. Another must have for us. Plus if you already have the other Duardin that are out (the Fyreslayers) they too can be added to this force. Really happy about this, and some new characters too.
Points= 1
Total= 41/2
Finally the one big thing we didn't notice was the new paint range that had been snuck in as a bit of an easter egg, they do look really good and at the end of the day if they do half of what is promised (especially with the tougher colours to get saturation with such as yellow), there's going to be a ton of very happy people.
So when we add it up, out of 8 full points (as we're including the paint range reveal) we came out with 4 and a half. Not great but reasonable. How did you do?
All the best,
ThunderMouser
NEWS: New Short Story and Extra World History - Malediction
Hail Mighty Readers and Followers of the Luck Gods Math Rocks,
Malediction have sent out a fab update including a short story to help whet your appetite to enter the world and for additional extra world flavour, don't forget to check out the World History additions
Here we let them explain everything in their own words:
Short Story
Our new short story, The Gaze of Molech, is live now.
Written by New York Times bestselling author Cavan Scott, it brings back a familiar face from By Shield or by Sword and turns toward the Conclave of the Spheres, where ambition, loyalty, and mastery all demand a price. We'll leave the rest for you to discover.
Alongside it, two new lore articles expand the world beyond the battlefield, from a dangerous exchange of letters to four places shaping life across Selejia.
You can read it here.
Additional World History:
The Malediction may define an age, but most people in Selejia will never step beyond the Wall of Galdrun.
Journey through Sanctorum, the Moonstruck Hills, Drav, and the Gardens of Neverlight four places shaped by pilgrimage, spectacle, sacred ground, dangerous ambition, and disasters that refuse to stay contained.
Together, they reveal a continent with rivalries, wonders, and horrors of its own far beyond the expeditions entering the Malediction.
If you've been waiting for another reason to go deeper into this world, start here.
Call of the Husk:
Some discoveries should remain buried.
Fragments recovered from the remains of a Poldarian Husk reveal correspondence between two scholars and an obsession that should've gone unanswered.
Call of the Husk adds another dangerous thread to Selejia’s history, revealing how curiosity, doctrine, and ambition can make the dead far from silent.

MONTHLY MINIATURES UPDATE: What Sovereign Tier gets you with Blood Tribes: Furiann Raiders - Heroes Infinite and Raging Hereos
Hail Mighty Readers and Followers of the Luck Gods Maths Rocks,
Heroes Infinite have just sent a new video of all the extra miniatures that you get when you sign up for their Sovereign Tier.
And whilst we always go for the sovereign tier ourselves, we wanted to let you know what it brings, all for an extra $8 over the lowest tier.
But thats not all, they have also created extra troops for your battlefield, which is best left to their own words: "Naturally, the units from this month's release all get their reinforcements. Then, to go further, we went back to the original Blood Tribes release. The Doom Hounds, those bloodthirsty supernatural hounds, now number ten. That should be enough to make any battle line think twice. The Oriniax from that same release are back too, and this time they're ridden by archers, giving you a whole new cavalry variant for your forces. We also dug out our Celtic warrior troops and gave them a full makeover, turning them into the Blood-Skorn Huntresses, a band of Blood Tribes scouts. And finally, we built something entirely from scratch: a brand-new unit of shock warriors, the Furiann Juggernauts. An elite troop armed with large axes, to give your close-combat forces even more bite."
Whereas if you take out the Overlord Tier ($16) you will get in addition to the above:

NEWS: Warmachine: Pre-order and New Faction coming, Rules Reveal plus next years Lock and Load Europe Date/Location Announced - Steamforged Games
With Warmachine Tuesday and Wednesday, Steamforged Games, have given us a good few updates, one of which we're really excited for. Here's what they had to say:
Europe Lock and Load 2027 Date Announced
Lock & Load EU is coming back, and we’ve got new dates! We’ve updated the dates for our next European Warmachine weekend, so mark your calendars for July 16–18, 2027. Three days of tournaments, events, hobby, lore, reveals and plenty of time to roll dice with the Warmachine community. We’ll have more details to share as we get closer, so keep your eyes peeled and start planning your trip to Lock & Load EU 2027!
The Gathering Darkness is available to pre-order.
Harasheth and his followers are ready to descend upon the battlefield, bringing the Fane of Nyrro’s ancient eldritch horrors to life in a force built around attrition, dark magic and the rather unsettling idea that death is just another resource.
Harasheth feeds on the essence of friend and foe alike, dragging fallen warriors back into his service and turning every casualty into another opportunity to keep the pressure on. Check out the preview of how Harasheth plays.
Built for both Command and Skirmish games, The Gathering Darkness gives you a complete force to start exploring his brutal playstyle, while existing Fane players can add even more horrors to their collection.

The time for lurking in the shadows is over. Pre-order The Gathering Darkness now and get ready to unleash Harasheth’s forces when they arrive.
While Harasheth’s forces swarm the battlefield, someone else circles above...
Nymara the Shadowblade — Into the dark
The newest warcaster to join the Fane of Nyrro, Nymara the Shadowblade brings a deadly, warbeast-focused approach to the battlefield, and she is out now! She moves through the shadows with deadly precision, striking where her opponent least expects and turning the Fane’s terrifying creatures into weapons of sudden, brutal violence.
Whether you’re ready to follow Nymara into the darkness or simply want to know what makes the Shadowblade tick, there’s plenty more lurking beneath the surface. Discover how she hunts in her rule preview, then uncover the story behind the huntress in her Heroes and Villains lore.
Thornfall Alliance — Doctor's orders
Dr Arkadius is back in the lab, and frankly, Emperor Carver should be keeping a tighter leash on the good doctor.
The new Thornfall Alliance Core Expansion brings the infamous doctor back alongside a suitably unhinged collection of farrow firepower, including Road Hog, Farrow Brigands, Commandos, Sapper and the brand-new Chainbelchers.
Dr Arkadius has spent plenty of time reshaping flesh and bone into weapons, and his latest experiments are ready to hit the battlefield. Road Hog tears ahead of the main force, torching fortifications and smashing anything that gets in its way, while Brigands bring reliable… ish firepower and stubborn frontline presence.
Then things get properly messy.
Splatter Boar deliver volatile alchemical bombardments into enemy lines, Commandos strike from unexpected angles, and the new Chainbelchers charge in tusk-first with mechanikal fists ready to turn anything unfortunate enough to be standing there into pulp.
And, naturally, there’s a Farrow Brigand Warlord to keep everyone vaguely pointed in the right direction. Available to pre-order now in all of their piggy glory. Don’t want to wait? Print your own at home with STLs available on Warmachine 3D, along with loads more Thornfall Alliance, and bring the Iron kingdoms to heel under the might of hoof and tusk.
It’s a lot of Farrow. It’s a lot of machinery. And it’s almost certainly a terrible idea.
Rules Reveal
Today, Steamforged Games announced the new rules for two of the Dusk Fane of Nyrro Army, the Styrge Abhorreth and Hysene the Executioner, . To read the full article please go here.

REVEAL SHOW: Big Autumn Reveal Show - Warhammer
Hail Mighty Readers, Followers of the Luck Gods Math Rocks,
Everyone is currently trying to guess what each of the graffiti shots on the video mean and having rewatched carefully and having had a think, these are our guesses:
So lets take each symbol and add our guesses to the list:
Game: Horus Heresy
Faction: Adeptus Custodes
Reason:
OK so this is perhaps the most obvious one, the Latin translates to "In his/her name". Now with it being placed on top of a Golden Banana it has to be something for the Adeptus Custodes. We're hoping its going to be some Sisters of Silence but we suspect it will probably be something else. As to the game, we're going for Horus Heresy.Game: Kill Team
Faction: Legion of the Damned
Reason:
For this one, we have heard rumblings from various places in regard to there being a Kill Team Legion of the Damned box, so with the symbology, with them being mentioned in a dispatch against the Orks for Armageddon we felt that this was a good fit for this release. What we also hope that they look at adding is an Upgrade and Transfers pack so that you can modify all other Marines that you get so that you can run a full army of them in Warhammer 40K 11th Edition.
Game: Warhammer Quest
Faction: Orruks
Reason:
This one may be a bit controversial with a fair few people out there but when we saw the sword driven through the Squigs head we went straight to the thinking that they were going to be bringing out some new enemies for the fighters to face and possibly a new character mini or two to which the sword pertains.
Game: Space Marine 2
Faction: -
Reason:
This has always been a big thing with the game as they've introduced a whole heap of various classes for people to play, the Ready just makes us feel that its a computer game related thing, As such we're not 100% sure whats going to occur, but possibly some new missions and possibly some new threats to face. After all why else would you need to check if you're ready to go?
Game: Warhammer Old World
Faction: Tomb Kings of Khemri
Reason:
One of the worst kept secrets is that GW have been planning on releasing a load of new sculpts for the Tomb Kings, with so many of them being really old and in some cases a little cartoony against some of the other forces on the battlefield. We're hoping for a selection of Skeleton Reinforcements, such as bringing the Death Rattle Skeletons into the battle force (after all who says the dead raised had to come from the actual faction, they may be ones that were killed during a later incursion.) and some armoured horse-skeletons.
Game: Necromunda
Faction: Imperial Guard
Reason:
In Necromunda Corpse Starch is one of the key things that is produced to feed the many. The corpse guild are the ones behind it, so it is entirely possible that we could get either a military style faction to face off against with Imperial Guard weaponry/look or it could be some undead augmented servants that are part machine, part human body. We can't wait to find out but are hoping for the later.
Faction: Khazalite Holds
Reason:
Warhammer themselves are the reason of this philosophy. On Sunday, an error was made that revealed a ton of new Dwarves in a banner on their own website, that had Golems, new infantry and of course some new heroes (including what looks to be a female hero.)
What do you think? Are we right? Well we'll all have to tune in on Friday at 1900 UK time on the Warhammer You Tube channel to find out. We'll reveal how badly we did on Saturday.
All the best,
ThunderMouser
