MONTHLY MINI's: Daughters of the Crucible: Guns and Rosaries - Heroes Infinite

Hail Mighty Readers and Followers of the Luck Gods Maths Rocks,

October see's Heroes Infinite bring something that fans of theirs have been requesting for a long time, the Daughters of the Crucible:Guns and Rosaries. Sculpted to bring out the very best of these Mexican themed Daughters of Combat (although we are surprised that these weren't the November Mini's.)

Each looks delightfully dark and brings the ultimate of beauty against the beastliness of a high cost warfare. Each piece of this set has been cleverly designed, whether you're looking at the multipiece scenery to build either a set for a Western themed game in particular something supernatural such as Deadlands. But you're here to see the mini's so lets get to it.

As a huge fan of games like Necromunda, I personally would be getting this set as something to modify for the Escher Gang although I can see you also using them to help fill out your Sisters of Battle line, and with 11th looking set to being set for being a speed game (with the vehicles, I wouldn't be surprised to see a set of Sisters on bikes. To the left you see the charming as well as deadly Sister "Duenda" Ducinea. A touch of Flamenco with the dark arts of a deadly dance, which you can easily imagine her spinning, twirling and unleashing hell with her gun and a quick death due to the daggered fan.

In addition to this we have the almost angelic Sister "Gloria" Altagracia who is a miniature who exudes a calmness in the heat of war that really does feel like she would belong on a Warhammer Battlefield as a sainted sister. We love how she is raised into the air, has the beautiful scripted ribbon and of course bring her own guns to the war almost as if death by her own hand is absolution for the wicked.

Finally, before we remind you of the various tiers and costs, we wanted to draw your attention toother STL's within the pack. Not only do you have the delightful miniatures that you can see in Heroes Infinites video at the top of this post, are great bases, which whilst designed for this range, would make great alternate bases for any number of miniatures and of course brings to the table, a huge range of scenery that would really help set the table.

As usual we wanted to also remind you of the other tiers and their cost so you can make your choice if these miniatures have tickled your fancy.

As usual there are three price tiers and this is what you get under the Leader Tier ($10)

9-10 Heroes

3 Dynamic Troopers

1 Epic Centerpiece

14+ Scenic Bases

2 Monsters

Whereas if you take out the Overlord Tier ($16) you will get in addition to the above:

Additional 15-20 new Troopers to create 5 different units

Exclusive alternative versions of Heroes and Monsters

Mind-boggingly extensive Modular / Scatter Terrain

Exclusive additional models for our Heroes Infinite Overlords, such as Mounted Heroes, Monsters, and more.

Finally there is Sovereign Tier ($24) where you'll also get:

Additional 15-20 new Troopers to create 5 different units

Exclusive alternative versions of Heroes and Monsters

Mind-boggingly extensive Modular / Scatter Terrain

Exclusive additional models for the Heroes Infinite Overlords,

such as Mounted Heroes, Monsters, and more.

And on top of this, you ALSO get 40+ models:

Additional 30-35 new Troopers to expand 6 existing units

Exclusive alternative versions of Heroes and Monsters

Exclusive additional models such as Mini Dioramas and more.

BONUS: Get special discounts up to 71% off past collections (until end of month)

And of course there is the centrepiece for this set, the Battle Herse with our favourite being the Super Heavy Battlehearse that would be a great item to lead the charge in place of any number of the Sisters or Battle tanks.

All in we hope you'll love these as much as we do.  The paint scheme we think is pretty cool and has definitely given us some idea's for something a little different for some of our own troops.  Can't wait to see what others do with them.

As promised, these are the two blood options that we use when painting our miniatures, a fresh blood effect and a dry blood effect.  Army Painter has this to say about them:

All the best,

MONTHLY MINIATURES UPDATE: What Sovereign Tier gets you with Blood Tribes: Furiann Raiders - Heroes Infinite and Raging Hereos

Hail Mighty Readers and Followers of the Luck Gods Maths Rocks,

Heroes Infinite have just sent a new video of all the extra miniatures that you get when you sign up for their Sovereign Tier.

And whilst we always go for the sovereign tier ourselves, we wanted to let you know what it brings, all for an extra $8 over the lowest tier.

Firstly you double the amount of miniatures that you get. For example, newly posed heroes like Skathi Blood-Scythe, the Executioner, the Sorceress reborn as a Champion wielding a heavy weapon, with a faithful raven of ill omen at her side.

Or the deliciously dark Valka Stormsinger, who whilst originally released a few years ago, as part of the Celtic series is reimagined and posed to work wonderfully well for the Blood Tribes series. (Pictured below.)

But thats not all, they have also created extra troops for your battlefield, which is best left to their own words: "Naturally, the units from this month's release all get their reinforcements. Then, to go further, we went back to the original Blood Tribes release. The Doom Hounds, those bloodthirsty supernatural hounds, now number ten. That should be enough to make any battle line think twice. The Oriniax from that same release are back too, and this time they're ridden by archers, giving you a whole new cavalry variant for your forces. We also dug out our Celtic warrior troops and gave them a full makeover, turning them into the Blood-Skorn Huntresses, a band of Blood Tribes scouts. And finally, we built something entirely from scratch: a brand-new unit of shock warriors, the Furiann Juggernauts. An elite troop armed with large axes, to give your close-combat forces even more bite."

Additional 30-35 new Troopers to expand 6 existing units

Exclusive alternative versions of Heroes and Monsters

Exclusive additional models such as Mini Dioramas and more.

BONUS: Get special discounts up to 71% off past collections (until end of month)

And before we leave, there is also the addition of two diorama's that will not only challenge your painting skills but look fab when not in use on your shelves.  Just look at these fab two images to see what you get.  Firstly A Bad Day to Hunt, which features a band of little Goblins squaring up to a Gorekin Yeti, which is quite light hearted but if darkness is your jam, the second piece will be right up your alley.  The Judgement of the Hunt, where Queen Morrakha stands with her Bloodhounds as they savage an unfortunate female 0rc.

We hope you'll love these as much as we do.  The paint scheme we think is pretty cool and has definitely given us some idea's for something a little different for some of our own troops.  Can't wait to see what others do with them.

All the best,

ThunderMouser

MONTHLY MINIATURES: Blood Tribes: Furiann Raiders - Heroes Infinite

Hail Mighty Readers and Followers of the Luck Gods Maths Rocks,

This month Heroes Infinite returns to the Blood Tribes with their themed Furiann Raiders, as usual with the releases from this company, they are beautifully designed, are wonderful options to put into various warbands as alternate options such as heroes or standard troops and if you're like me and love having units of female fighters (although there are a fair few male options too), then you're in for a real treat. Likewise they'll fit in nicely with any number of TTRPG's if you're doing live maps on the table for your players. Stay tuned at the end of the article as we're going to mention the paints that we love to do blood. We are not advertising and have not been sponsored for any of this, its just that at times, we all have problems that need a good fix.

OK, so you're looking for something pretty epic for a battle on the tabletop with a giant creature, how about the blood covered Maugrog the crusher? A giant miniature who is a centrepiece for this release, he will look delightfully dark for your players, will be questioning exactly what this character brings to the fore and of course will be a battle that will be remembered for quite some time especially when you place this in front of them.

In addition to this we have delightfully dark female miniatures that will fullfill anything from a dark mythological theme through to a provocative and youthful Baba Yaga. For that you really want to utilise Morakka, The Mother of the Blooded. She looks fab with the horns, bloodied ceremonial furs and of course is going to make a cracking villain or principle character for your players or as a cracking principle magician for a dark force on the tabletop.

We hope you'll love these as much as we do.  The paint scheme we think is pretty cool and has definitely given us some idea's for something a little different for some of our own troops.  Can't wait to see what others do with them.

As promised, these are the two blood options that we use when painting our miniatures, a fresh blood effect and a dry blood effect.  Army Painter has this to say about them:

The Warpaints Fanatic Effects paints make adding effects to your miniatures easy and fun, taking your project to the next level.

Specialist tools for theme and narrative, Warpaints Fanatic Effects range from high gloss to ultra-matt, textured to radiating! Warpaint Fanatic Effects also work great when weathering or basing your miniatures!  Use the Warpaints Fanatic Effects range to add gory elements, realistic rust, or a simple glow to a lens, power weapon, or magical conjuring!

As previously stated, we are not been sponsored by anyone mentioned in this post, its just things that we love and in the case of the Army Painter Blood Effect paints, are ones that we've purchased with our own money and love the effects that they have given us on our miniatures.

All the best,
