NEWS: Konflikt 47's Birthday Celebrations: Special Deals and Hero Pre-orders - Warlord Games

Hail Mighty Readers and Followers of the Luck Gods Math Rocks,

Warlord Games Konflikt 47 is celebrating the games birthday.  And for that, they've released some fab new heroes for pre-order.  You can do that here.

In addition to this, they’ve put together some absolutely insane bundles for each of the factions to celebrate Konflikt ‘47’s first birthday!

Here's the information in their own words:

"These contain more than enough for a full army each, with loads of different options and a mixture of older and brand new models, and at an unbelievable discount to boot.

If you want a whole collection in one click, look no further!

We don’t usually do limited edition bundles, but these are really just a celebration of the K47 community for the birthday week.

They’ll only be available for the next week, and then they’re gone - but of course, you’ll still be able to get all the models in them individually!

That’s not all, either! For the rest of September, everyone who places any online order (with Warlord Games) which qualifies for free shipping will automatically be entered into a prize draw.

The winner will receive no fewer than seven starter sets from across our ranges - how’s that for a birthday present?*"

NEWS: US Resistance spotted at Warlord Games HQ and Last Chance to buy some of the older Resin Kits - Warlord Games

Hail Mighty Readers and Followers of the Luck Gods Math Rocks,

Warlord Games HQ seems to have been a little quiet since the Games Day that they held a week or so ago so when we saw a brand new post about someones project for Invasion Amerika, we couldn't wait to see what awaited us.  Here is is in their own words, incidentally biscuits for HQ may be on hold but I'm holding out for a packet of Bourbons:

US Resistance spotted at Warlord Games HQ

"We recently spotted Marketing’s Steff trying to sneak into the office via the back entrance, clutching a figure case. This seemed suspicious, so we apprehended her and took a look. Wouldn’t you know it, she’s gone and painted another K47 army, without telling anyone! Failure to disclose a cool hobby project is a serious offence which would usually incur a fine of many, many packets of biscuits, but we let her off with a warning when she agreed to tell us all about it…

To read all about it please go here.

Last chance to buy Konflikt 47 Resin Kits:

With so many new plastic kits arriving for Konflikt ‘47, some of our older resin and metal kits will shortly be replaced by plastic versions.

As this happens, the old kits will go into a well-earned retirement, so this is your last chance to buy these kits if you want to complete your collection.

Of course, these models and their unit profiles will still be fully supported by the online army lists and in the app, so you'll be able to keep using them for years to come - it's just time to update their models!

If you want to grab a few before they go to that big battlefield in the sky, purchase from Warlord Games directly here.

All the best,

REVIEW: Konflikt 47: Invasion Amerika - Warlord Games

Release Date: 05/08/26
Publisher: Warlord Games

SYNOPSIS:

It is 1947. Breaches in reality known as Rifts have provided the means for the warring nations to unleash unspeakable horrors upon one another in pursuit of victory. On the island fortress of Iwo Jima, away from prying eyes, the Empire of Japan has developed secret new technologies.

Whilst fixated on the threat of the Axis in Europe, the Pan-Atlantic Alliance fights a holding war in the Far East and Pacific. However, the Empire is poised to irrevocably alter the trajectory of the Rift War on a global scale.

The First Paragon: Slammer Samuals

Invasion Amerika is the second in a series of supplements for Konflikt ’47 detailing the background, history, and characters of the Rift War. This volume turns its attention to the Empire of Japan's expansionist ambitions, and their unprecedented attack against the heartland of the United States of America.

Within its full-colour pages, rife with glorious photography, artwork, and illustrations, you’ll find timelines, short stories, game scenarios, and more.

Special Miniature

When you order this book, you’ll also receive the exclusive ‘T2 Prototype Heavy Armour’ special miniature. Under attack in the heart of the United States, the US will make use of any weapons they can, ready or not!

Miniature sculpted by Marco Sano. Studio miniature painted by Kirsten Williams.

REVIEW:

First of all, I have to let you know that you need to have already purchased the Konflikt 47: Rule Book in order to be able to utilise the content within this title we're reviewing, and, whilst you don't necessarily need it, Book One of the Rift War which is Konflikt '47: Festung Europa which also gives you rich history to delve into alongside scenario's for battlefields to be fought over.

What this book brings to the table, is solid writing, that helps fill out some of the blanks that fans have in regard to the history of the Empire of Japan, it gives you heroes, it gives you scenario's and with crisp stories written into the text, you get to feel the world and not just battle within it with your choice of army.

Its well written, the stories crisp and exciting and each one also gives you a layer to add to the world in which the forces live, you get creeds you get struggles and of course, you get to see what happens with the technology as its developed allowing the Japanese to further their own goals for the glory of the Emperor.

Add to this top secret reports, blueprints and of course artwork that just steps off the page and all round its a fabulous book to add to your Konflikt 47 collection.  I can't wait to see if we can expect some additional fictional novels to help expand the world and of course, to see how the world changes throughout each of the interactions within and to see how each scenario will playout alongside how the results will shape the future.

ROUND UP NEWS: July 6th - 12th July 2026 - Various

Hail Mighty Readers and Followers of the Luck Gods Math Rocks,

To make sure we carry as much as we can, at the end of each week we have a weekly round up for people to find out about other items that haven't made a main article on the site, here is this weeks...

In Malediction news:

"A growing Malediction community needs more than one kind of table. Local stores give players a place to return. Conventions give them a stage, a meeting point, and a chance to test what they have built in front of a wider scene.

At Lone Star Open 2026, Herald Allen Stelly is helping bring Malediction into one of those spaces.

“Players can expect four games of exciting Seeker on Seeker carnage! Everyone will walk away with some form or prize; no one goes home empty-handed. Being a Herald is exciting; while I enjoy the game itself, the community is why I am a Herald - I love meeting new people, and being a Herald enables me to do that”, said Allen.

Events like LSO give Malediction a public place to be discovered, played, and tested. Every organized event becomes a chance for players to meet, learn, compete, and carry the world of Selejia into a new room.

Join us at Lone Star Open and put your warband on the table. Or, if you want to help create more opportunities like this in your own community, become a Herald and help bring Malediction to new players, stores, and events.

The event will feature a Malediction Standard Mode 1V1 Tournament using the published organized play ruleset. Players will bring their warbands, decks, and side decks, with painted miniatures and 3D terrain encouraged but not required. The format is built to keep the tournament organized while making the path into competitive play clear for players ready to put their warbands on the table.

For Allen, the work of a Herald goes beyond running matches. It means helping players gather, learn, compete, and find a community around the game.

Across the events recorded at Mana Vault, 16 Malediction sessions have already been held, with Heralds including Jason Norman, Migual Mahr, and Patrick helping bring the game to the table. Together, they show what happens when a local store becomes a true community anchor: demos become free play, free play becomes players, and players become the foundation of a scene.

That relationship matters. Stores give players a reliable place to gather. Heralds bring the timing, teaching, and table presence needed to make those gatherings repeatable. When both sides work together, Malediction gains something stronger than a single event. It gains a local home.

For Jeffrey Ackerman, owner and operator of Mana Vault Game Shop, Malediction fits naturally into the kind of community his store is building.

“As an avid tabletop and TCG player, I’m always looking for games that bring players together in fresh ways. Malediction felt like the perfect evolution for our shop, blending strategy, creativity, and community in a way that fits exactly what we’re building at Mana Vault.”

Want to help build a strong Malediction community at your local game store, just like our Heralds and the Mana Vault team are doing in Utah? Become a Herald and help bring more players to the table where you live.

Missed the IronAndy Learn-to-Play?

IronAndy Studios recently brought Malediction to Twitch with Herald Matt, also known as Nergil, helping guide a live learn-to-play using the Two Player Starter Box. If you missed it live, the replay is a clear way to see how new players enter the game, how the starter experience flows, and how Heralds help their community to grow.

The timing is also perfect for anyone ready to start playing. The Two Player Starter Boxes are part of the current Loot Studios Anniversary deals, making this a good moment to watch the game taught, choose your side, and bring your first match to the table.  (Go here to watch how it unfolds.)

Lore Update

Finally for Malediction you can go here to see the latest news on Lore Updates.

This one here is for The Seven Rites, and this other one is for The Rite of Honour.

In a new update from Dwarven Forge:

"The Pledge Manager for Caverns Reforged is live, and will be running through August 19th! Whether you backed the campaign or not, you can grab anything in the collection and take advantage of Stretch Pay to split it up into fourth monthly installments with no interest or fees.

We've added a few things based on our backer feedback: new compositions for the Caverns Risers and Short LED Walls, as well as offering the Mine Entrance Door and Cave-In Rubble Wall as individual pieces. We also included some out-of-stock store sets like the Natural Bridge and Dock Pack.

We're over the moon with how well the campaign performed, and it's wonderful to see our Caverns line so fully-featured thanks to your support. If you've been pondering dipping a toe into this biome, we hope you'll join us!

As always, if you have any questions you can reach out to us on social media, or join the conversation on the forums or discord."

More news as we get it

Today, we're proud to bring an unpate from our friends at Converge Games for their kickstarter for "The Mad Kings Ire" which has now hit over 250% of its funding goal.  They had this to say:

"We are so grateful for everyone's support so far, and to you all for following along on our adventure!

We are also about to unlock our next Stretch Goal Premium Token Trays - make your game that much easier to get playing with this game organiser upgrade. This stretch goal was voted for by our backer community.

Our current stretch goal vote is still going but will close soon, and helps us determine our final stretch goal order!

We've had so much fun running our community story vote system and you can back now to get involved!"

NEWS: Konflikt 47 British Commonwealth Plastic Mini's and Wigan Shops Grand Opening - Warlord Games

Hail Mighty Readers and Followers of the Luck Gods Math Rocks,

Today see's the launch of brand new plastic Konflikt 47 British Commonwealth miniatures.

And let us just say that they're fab.  You'll see in our basic unboxing unbagging vid, that the sprues are beautiful, sharp clean lines with each piece of each mini for the Mk1 Automated Infantry and the Mk2 Heavy Infantry is easy to see what goes where, are even easier to put together and fits together an absolute dream.

Painting wise, we really wanted to let the automaton through so we kept our scheme pretty basic, a spray of Army Painter Black Primer with a dry brushing of Vallejo Aged Metal Base, a highlight of Nihilakh Oxide Technical paint with a dab of Vallejo's Scarlet Blood for the Eye Lens with a small addition of some of Vallejo's black dipping wash (although we painted rather than dipped to get it more precise.  As to the bases, well thats, Vallejo's Thick Mud with Gamers Grass Heather Tufts and Army Painters Swamp Tufts.

Now part of the reason we wanted to keep these simple was that we wanted to be able to do something that you can quickly get on the tabletop to game with, no having a field of grey plastic waiting to trudge across the ground, no half done mini's that need a ton more work so that you've given up and of course something, that if you have all your mini's in a row, can be knocked out in one night for a full box of Mk1's and Mk2's.

For details please see our YT Video (this has sadly been delayed due to the unusual British heat but will be completed over the next couple of days.)

In regard to the updates on the British Commonwealth with how to field them and the changes please go here.

Finally for all you lucky people in Wigan, Warlord's new shop (and first outside Nottingham) will be having its official Grand Opening (its already open if you want to pop by) on Saturday 4th July 2026, with a whole heap of fun lined up.  For more details please read their post here.

NEWS ROUND UP: 14 June 2026 - 21st June 2026 - Various

Hail Mighty Readers and Followers of the Luck Gods Math Rocks,

To make sure we carry as much as we can, at the end of each week we have a weekly round up for people to find out about other items that haven't made a main article on the site, here is this weeks...

What Ho, my good chaps,

Coming from Konflikt 47 new plastic Automated Platoons for the British Commonwealth.

First up is the Mk IIC Automated Director. This is a new leader for your British Commonwealth Platoons, and really what makes the new Automated Platoon work as a whole. It functions as a Platoon Commander and can issue Snap to Action! orders, though it doesn’t give a Morale bonus to friendly troops – not a problem for Automated Infantry who all have the Fearless rule. Like the Mk IIs, it removes the First off the Line rule from nearby units that have it, so long as both units have an Active Rift Die. They’ve taken the opportunity to streamline this rule, which they’re now calling Data Transmission, and put it on the Mk II unit profiles because it’s clearer, and also allows us to combine with other rules more easily.

To read more about changes for the British Commonwealth please go to the full article here.  In addition to this, if you want some of these new plastic mini's, please go here where your pre-order will be dispatched next week.  We have been lucky enough to get our mits on some ahead of schedule and have to say, that they go together easily and look fab.  We'll be showing our 5 Mk 1 Automated Infantry, and our 2 Mk2 Heavy Infantry, that look fab with their simple paint work.  We will also be featuring our own Konflikt 47 Force over the next few weeks as we get them together and ready for action.

Cubicle Seven continues its June Deals.  With these fab offers of 20% off some of their books here.

In other news, The Sylvania Setting Guide is coming soon to Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay.

I will tell you for nothing — stay away from Sylvania. If you are fool enough to go, then you have to be prepared. Take guards, and a guide who knows the province. The roads are worse than anywhere civilised, so be prepared for slow going when the weather gets bad. The coaching inns are havens in that blighted land, but even there, things aren’t always quite right.

You don’t want to find out what the forest and fens hold in the darkness. You see strange ruins in the day and lights at night, but those who look to explore them do not always return. The main routes, water and land, are at least reasonably well travelled and the traders and merchants you meet are usually friendly, if wary. But even then…

Don’t laugh… but you cannot even trust the dead to stay dead — I have seen dead soldiers clamber from the murky waters of the Stir, board a barge, and tear a man to pieces, I swear by Sigmar.

I’ll say it again — stay away from Sylvania.’

—Klaus Klopp, Former Holder of the Vanhaldenschlosse Trade Warrant
