UNBOXING REVIEW: The Barons' War - Wargames Atlantic

Hail Mighty Readers and Followers of the Luck Gods Math Rocks,

We have been lucky enough to receive a review copy of The Barons' War by Wargames Atlantic.  As such we couldn't wait to bring you the unboxing video and have it ready to roll today for you especially.  We currently have other projects in the works for our own scenery (including painting a 3d printed Castle) for our troops to fight over and of course we are going to bring some mini features on how we painted our troops.

And now, without further ado, our video.  We hope you'll share it as we are working hard on trying to increase our online presence and would love to help others discover fab fun Wargames and TTRPG's alongside us.

NEWS: Konflikt 47 British Commonwealth Plastic Mini's and Wigan Shops Grand Opening - Warlord Games

Hail Mighty Readers and Followers of the Luck Gods Math Rocks,

Today see's the launch of brand new plastic Konflikt 47 British Commonwealth miniatures.

And let us just say that they're fab.  You'll see in our basic unboxing unbagging vid, that the sprues are beautiful, sharp clean lines with each piece of each mini for the Mk1 Automated Infantry and the Mk2 Heavy Infantry is easy to see what goes where, are even easier to put together and fits together an absolute dream.

Painting wise, we really wanted to let the automaton through so we kept our scheme pretty basic, a spray of Army Painter Black Primer with a dry brushing of Vallejo Aged Metal Base, a highlight of Nihilakh Oxide Technical paint with a dab of Vallejo's Scarlet Blood for the Eye Lens with a small addition of some of Vallejo's black dipping wash (although we painted rather than dipped to get it more precise.  As to the bases, well thats, Vallejo's Thick Mud with Gamers Grass Heather Tufts and Army Painters Swamp Tufts.

Now part of the reason we wanted to keep these simple was that we wanted to be able to do something that you can quickly get on the tabletop to game with, no having a field of grey plastic waiting to trudge across the ground, no half done mini's that need a ton more work so that you've given up and of course something, that if you have all your mini's in a row, can be knocked out in one night for a full box of Mk1's and Mk2's.

For details please see our YT Video (this has sadly been delayed due to the unusual British heat but will be completed over the next couple of days.)

In regard to the updates on the British Commonwealth with how to field them and the changes please go here.

BRAND NEW FEATURE: Unboxing and Building of Alternate Jarl - Para Bellum Games

Hail Mighty Readers and Followers of the Luck Gods Math Rocks,

Well, we finally did it, we're doing our first unboxing and build on our You Tube Channel and wanted to put it up here.  I won't say it was a smooth job, but as they say, you learn by doing.  (Or in my case you learn by incompetency.)  So hopefully you'll enjoy our first endeavour for Para Bellum Games. Conquest, where we built the Nord Alternate Jarl.

All the best,

ThunderMouser
