NEWS: Cyberpunk TCG Updates from Software Partner to Deck Reveals - WeirdCo

Hail Mighty Readers, Followers of the Luck Gods Math Rocks,

WeirdCo's Cyberpunk TCG are stepping things up this week, with having selected a Tournament Partner, reminding people to get ready for local beta events, revealing the Welcome to Nightcity Starter Decks and a deep dive into playing them in this weeks podcast, here's what they had to say:

"Tournament Software Partner Announced:

Earlier this week, we announced that WeirdCo has selected Melee.gg as its tournament software partner for Cyberpunk TCG!

You can now browse and sign up for events in Melee, and get yourself set up with a Cyberpunk TCG account so that you’re ready for our Organized Play events when they begin. Stores are only just beginning to list their events on the platform, so check back regularly to find events near you!

You can learn all about our partnership and what it means for Cyberpunk TCG players in our midweek announcement blog.

"A few weeks ago, when we updated you about additional opportunities to acquire our Rebecca: Having a Moment promo card, we announced an upcoming “digital convention”. Now, we’re excited to let you know that it's scheduled for September 4!

You can find all of the details about the event, including information about how to get your promo if you’re a Kickstarter backer, over on this week’s developer blog post.

Local Beta Events:

Excited to jump into a Beta Event or a Pre-release at your Local Game Store, but don’t know where to start?

Check out our new Sealed event primer for full details on the format of these events, what you need to play in one, and how to get involved!

Welcome to Night City Starter Decks:

Very shortly, thousands of Starter Decks will be winging their way to Kickstarter backers around the world. And now, you can get ready for their arrival by taking a look over the full decklists for each one.

Will you choose Embracing Power — the deck that calls on the full might of the Arasaka Corporation? Or The Heist — the deck filled with cunning techies and powerful programs to help you subvert your Rivals’ plans and attacks?

You can explore both decks over in this week’s developer blog post.

This Weeks Podcast:

Cree "Kawa" Gunning and Paweł Burza are back, and this week they’re breaking down both Starter Decks and sharing their thoughts on some of the exclusive cards that players will find in them. Plus, you’ll get their thoughts on all of this week’s game-changing Organized Play news!

Check out Episode 22.
