Mantic Games have sent us an email today in regard to Halo: Flashpoint and to be honest, its a pretty gripping and super exciting expansion that fans have long been requesting you can see what they have to say now:
"Since Halo: Flashpoint launched, players around the world have been asking the same question: when can they field the Covenant?
Today, Mantic Games answers that question with the reveal of the Covenant for Halo: Flashpoint, introducing the franchise's iconic alien alliance as a fully playable faction for the first time in the official tabletop miniatures game.
The new Judgement expansion brings the most iconic units from the Human-Covenant War to the tabletop, including the High Prophet of Regret, Sangheili Honour Guard, Sangheili Rangers, Mgalekgolo Hunters and more.
Following on from previous major expansions Rise of the Banished and Feet First Into Hell, this set opens up a third exciting faction for players to explore. Judgement not only includes plastic miniatures that can swap in for many of the standees in Halo: Campaign Evolved, but also adds two exclusive new scenarios that pit players against the fearsome Mgalekgolo Hunters.
Alongside this reveal, we're opening up Halo: Campaign Evolved – The Board Game for pre-orders, a brand-new tabletop Halo experience that puts players in the boots of Master Chief as he battles Covenant forces across narrative missions.
And because the Human-Covenant War wouldn’t be complete without him, Sergeant Major Johnson also arrives in Halo: Flashpoint as a fan-favourite playable character.
The box also contains a new full-colour 3D combat zone designed to connect directly with the arena from the Halo: Flashpoint starter set, enabling larger-scale Big Team Battle games. Alongside these miniatures and terrain pieces, players will find all the cards, tokens, rules and accessories needed to bring the Covenant to the battlefield – including exclusive faction dice."
