KICKSTARTER: Wyldwood - Tabletop Titans

Hail Mighty Readers and Followers of the Luck Gods Math Rocks,

We have been watching Tabletop Titans for a while now since we heard about Wyldwood from UKGE 2026 and wanted to help support their fundraising on Kickstarter for a number of reasons.  Firstly they have been keeping everyone fully updated about what they've been up to before the campaign launches (which it just has within the last 10 minutes) and secondly, the way that they've planned it.

"We began factory prototyping more than 8 months ago, and since then we've completed multiple rounds of prototypes and revisions with our manufacturing partner. Every miniature has been prototyped, every printed component has been proofed, and we've spent months finding and fixing problems before asking you to back the project."

In addition to this, it isn't their first time fundraising for a project, they've already done it two times before.

Here is their schedule for once the kickstarter ends:

"October 15 — Kickstarter ends

We'll use the following two weeks to finalize quantities, complete the Kickstarter payment process and place our final production order.

First week of November — Manufacturing begins

Miniature production is expected to take approximately six months. Cards, boxes, tokens and other printed components will be manufactured simultaneously and are expected to require less time.

Approximately May 2027 — Manufacturing complete

Once production and final QC are complete, products will be loaded for ocean freight to our regional fulfillment warehouses.

Approximately 60 days — Ocean freight

We're budgeting approximately 60 days for freight, customs and delivery from China to our regional warehouses in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Australia.

Approximately 2 weeks — Final fulfillment

Once inventory reaches the regional warehouses, we expect the majority of individual backer shipments to leave the warehouses within approximately two weeks.

That schedule also contains some contingency because international manufacturing and freight can always encounter unexpected delays.

That is a total of 8 months time taking us to completion around June. To give us a bit of extra time for something to go wrong we are going to quote delivery in August 2027 for all products to all backers. The extra 60 days allows for something unforeseen to happen and us still to deliver on schedule.

One Exception: The Wyldwood Source Book

There is one component that isn't completely finished, our premium hardcover Wyldwood Source Book.

The book itself is well underway, but we're still completing several stories and pieces of artwork. We want the book to include dozens great stories a huge number of original artworks and that project needs more time. We expect to finish the design of the sourcebook by December 2026 and put it into printing at that time. Given the book is easy to print (compared to miniatures) we may still be able to ship it along with everything else, but we are highlighting that it could take 1-2 months extra to ship. Adding a source book to your order will not delay the shipping of your other items.

We Want to Set the Standard for How Smooth A Kickstarter Project Can Be

We took the time and the financial risk to build and prototype Wyldwood so that our customers did not have to take risk. We’ve heard a lot recently from many people about horror stories of projects they’ve backed that have gone wrong. We plan for Wyldwood will be the one example everyone else strives to be like.

(All above information is from Brian on their Kickstarter Page)

So now we've got the nitty gritty on what impressed us out of the way lets get down to what it is they're fundraising for:

Stone age fantasy with display scale miniatures, fast and competitive skirmish games with cards decks.

The forest is awakening with the scattered tribes of thinking creatures who cling to caves, river valleys, and shady glens as they learn what it means to endure.  They hunt with chipped bone and fire hardened spears, follow the great herds through the forest passes, and vanish into shadow when larger predators stalk too close.  Around small flames they trade stories, inventing gods for thunder, spirits for the rising sun and constellations for the great legends of their people.  Life here is brutal and brief, and what little culture has begun to take root is shaped by necessity, ritual, and the simple, relentless question of how to see another dawn.

Fast, Balanced and Competitive

Wyldwood is built for fast, tactical, competitive play. Command a warband of 5 Champions and a customized 30-card deck as you battle to be the first to score 10 points across 6 action-packed turns. Easy to get to the table, with the depth to keep every battle challenging.

60mm Display Models

Wyldwood features incredible 60mm display-scale miniatures, making every Champion a centerpiece worthy of your collection. The larger scale creates a unique building and painting experience, while each faction is crowned by a massive Leader model that brings an epic presence to the battlefield.

Build Your Deck, Play Your Way

Every faction has its own collection of beautifully illustrated Command Cards, designed around its unique characters, abilities, and playstyle. Build and customize your 30-card deck to change your strategy, discover new combinations, and make your warband truly your own.

So if like us you're excited for this, you can support the kickstarter here.

All the best,

ThunderMouser
