Dozer & Smigg — Bring the thunder
Somewhere along the way, someone decided that putting a howitzer on the back of a dire troll was a perfectly sensible idea.
They were right.
Dozer and Smigg are now available to pre-order, bringing a truly enormous gun to the Southern Kriels Kithguard army. This super-heavy warbeast combines Dozer’s savage strength with Smigg’s “questionable accuracy”, with the howitzer strapped directly to Dozer’s back.
Of course, getting the gun onto Dozer was the easy part. Teaching him not to panic every time it fired was considerably more difficult. Early attempts involved enraged dire troll rampages, unfortunate Pyg gunners clinging on for life and limb, and the discovery that being strapped to an angry artillery piece with legs is not a particularly safe occupation.
Smigg somehow survived.
The pair have since developed an unlikely bond, with Dozer learning to love the thunder of his cannon and Smigg earning himself a permanent seat, plenty of armour and the dubious privilege of being the troll’s favourite, and only, gunner.
Working alongside the Kithguard, the pair bring devastating ranged firepower to the battlefield, with Smigg ranging targets for the guns while Dozer acts as a stalwart and rather aggressive weapons platform.
A living artillery piece, a super-heavy warbeast and quite possibly the least sensible gun crew in Immoren.

The darkness gathers
The Fane of Nyrro has been gathering its forces for months, and next week, the darkness reaches its crescendo.
Gathering Darkness arrives September 29, bringing the fourth and final Fane of Nyrro Army Box to the tabletop. From the deadly foundations of Executioner’s Toll, to the skullduggery of Death’s Whisper, the calculated menace of Court of Shadows, and now the ravenous forces of Gathering Darkness, the Fane of Nyrro has certainly made an impression on the Iron Kingdoms.
And just when you thought the skies were safe, Styrge Abhorreth is swooping in too.
The new Fane of Nyrro solo will be available to pre-order next Tuesday, September 29, things are about to get even more batty.
Keep your eyes on the skies. Preferably both of them.
